If the soldier, who was taken to the island, could withdraw from the island after providing security, the Turkish army could be a peace insurance for the island, but the Turkish military is still on duty there. The border on the Turkish side could be removed for the Greek side, which wanted to unite with the Turkish side, which did not want to unite, but when a new invasion emerged, the Turkish soldiers could then return to the island. Meanwhile, the Turkish side would have observed whether a bigger problem would come to them while they wanted to get rid of Turkey, or if the Greeks would treat them like their brothers. If the Turkish Cypriots had made an effort to be accepted into a community that didn't really want them, they could start learning Greek, but they don't see Southern Cyprus, they just live the dream of opening a migration route to Europe from there. In short, the Turks on the island dream of becoming a European citizen by following the Greeks, instead of dealing with a good university, a high social level and a conscious society.

Adaya çıkartılan asker, güvenliği sağladıktan sonra adadan çekilebilseydi, Türkiye ordusu, ada için bir barış sigortası olabilirdi ama bu hali ile Türkiye askeri orada hala görev yapıyor. Birleşmek isteyen Türk tarafı ile birleşmek istemeyen Rum tarafı için Türk tarafındaki sınır kaldırılabilir, ancak yeni bir işgal ortaya çıktığında Türkiye askeri o zaman adaya yeniden dönebilirdi. Bu arada Türk tarafı da Türkiye’den kurtulmak isterken başlarına daha büyük bir sıkıntı gelecek mi, yoksa Rumlar onlara kardeşleri gibi davranacaklar mı bunu gözlemlemiş olurdu. Kıbrıs Türkleri eğer gerçekten kendilerini istemeyen bir topluluğa kabul edilmek gibi bir çabaları olsaydı, Rumca öğrenmeye başlayabilirlerdi ama onların gözünde güney Kıbrıs yok, sadece oradan Avrupa’da göç yolu açılsın hayali yaşıyorlar. Kısacası adadaki Türkler, iyi bir üniversite, sosyal seviyesi yüksek, bilinçli bir toplum olmakla uğraşmak yerine hazırdaki Rumların peşine takılıp Avrupa vatandaşı olmanın hayalini kuruyorlar.
